Property rights: the reality vs. the ideology of it

Property rights: the reality vs. the ideology of it Our idol worship is condemning future generations to indentured servitude. We must get past ideology and embrace clear thinking. ALEX KRAINER Earlier this week a friend sent me an article by one  Martin Hutchinson , publisher of the " True Blue Never Stains " newsletter. This was the first time I'd ever read Mr. Hutchinson, who is apparently well respected among his readers... However, almost until the end of his article, I was convinced that I was reading satire. Hutchinson writes that, "When the Third Reich invaded the last part of Czechoslovakia in March 1939, the Bank of England returned Czechoslovakia's gold and sterling reserves to the German government... That was only proper; the Bank was respecting the property rights of the Czechoslovaks, and the fact that in international law those rights had passed to the new government of Czechoslovakia, by right of conquest." China bad! Hutchinson contrasts

Woke-ism is Not Cultural Marxism

Another point of view on the new left and "Cultural Marxism"... Woke-ism is Not Cultural Marxism BY   DR JAMES ALEXANDER Sometimes we hear the following argument: Wokery is Cultural Marxism. Originally Marxism was about class struggle and oppression. What happened in the late twentieth century, with the breakdown of old heavy industry and the decline of the old working class, was that Marxists began to study other  forms  of oppression: and hence other  objects  of oppression, which they understood in classical Marxist manner as being oppressed by the capitalist system of expropriation. Wokery is Marxist because it continually talks about capitalism, neoliberalism and so on as cause, and various forms of oppression as consequence. I don’t like this argument. I think it is slack and careless. This is because it involves a misrepresentation of Marxism – and this has to be said even before we say that Marxism necessarily involves a misrepresentation of Marx (as Marx himself said

BIOLOGICAL LENINISM

This is a three part article from 2017 that I came across today.  A few may object to some of his views, but he has an interesting analysis of how and why the old left, with it's emphasis on class, labor rights and economic fairness, was usurped by a new left based on identity politics and the cult of victimhood.  He also provides a decent explanation of what is meant by "Cultural Marxism", or what he calls "Biological Leninism". BIOLOGICAL LENINISM Part 1 It's 100 years now since the Russian Revolution. The Soviet Union. Lenin and the Bolsheviks. Leninism. It's been 100 years already, but you realize how present the whole thing remains when you look at the press these days. People are still praising or damning the revolution. As if it mattered anymore. As if it were something more than history. As if the left and right of today had remotely anything in common with the left and right of Lenin's day. I won't praise Lenin, an evil man. But great me
