Going Postal in the Land of Lunacy

Image
Going Postal in the Land of Lunacy Criminals, vigilantes, and good Samaritans Donald Jeffries On December 4, United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot and killed outside the entrance to the New York Hilton Hotel. Right in the heart of what’s left of New York City. That seems like a lot of symbolism there. At least it didn’t happen on Wall Street. Don’t want to get those Occupy protesters riled up. Now, I haven’t paid all that much attention to this case. I have been lied to so often by our state controlled media, and every authority figure with a public platform, that I simply assume that these incidents are distorted, misrepresented, or fabricated theater. My first impression was that the gunman had on what appeared be a bizarre, lifelike mask, with a maniacal grin like the Joker plastered on it, reinforcing my innate skepticism. As it turned out, it wasn’t a mask, but the seemingly perpetual smile on the face of the assailant, as shown in all the photos published of him. Th...

"F**k Around & Find Out": Truckers Warn Loads To NYC Will Be Rejected Starting Monday

Image
Truck drivers transport between 70% to 73% of all freight in the United States. Therefore, when truckers begin discussing plans on social media to boycott loads to progressive hellhole New York City, it's important to pay attention.  X user  Chicago1Ray , who appears to be a Midwest truck driver, shared a video late Friday night detailing that a number of truck drivers will begin denying loads to NYC on Monday.  "I don't know how far across the country this is - or how many truckers are going start denying loads to NYC - but I'll tell you - you f**k around and find out,"  Chicago1Ray said.  He continued:  "We're tired of motherf**king leftist f**king with Trump. Okay ... Motherfu**ers start to get tired of this shit. Our bosses aren't going to care if we deny loads. We'll go somewhere else."  "You know how hard it is to get in and out of NYC?" the trucker emphasized.  I've been on the radio for over an hour and I've talked...

Why The Trump Indictment Is "Outrageous and Shocking"

Image
Former federal prosecutor and current candidate for Missouri attorney general Will Scharf. ( Candidate for Missouri Attorney General. Worked on two SCOTUS confirmations. Fmr federal prosecutor. Fmr MOGOV Policy Director.)   Authored by Will Scharf via Twitter . I am a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, worked on two Supreme Court confirmations, and clerked for two federal appellate judges. The indictment and case against President Trump is outrageous and shocking. But let’s get into the details. Here are my 6 key points on the case: (1) Interplay between the Espionage Act and the Presidential Records Act A lot of my friends have spoken insightfully about the scope of the Presidential Records Act. I’d direct you to Mike Davis’s ( @mrddmia ) commentary on the subject, and also Michael Bekesha of  @JudicialWatch ’s piece yesterday in the  @WSJ  about the Clinton Sock Drawer Case. Basically, their argument distills down to the idea that the President’s authority to retain P...

Sam Bankman-Fried’s Criminal Trial Judge Is Married to Law Partner of Firm that Arranged the FTX-BlockFi Deal

Sam Bankman-Fried’s Criminal Trial Judge Is Married to Law Partner of Firm that Arranged the FTX-BlockFi Deal By  Pam Martens and Russ Martens Last week the New York Times  did a puff piece  on the judge that will be presiding over the Sam Bankman-Fried criminal trial in the Federal courthouse in lower Manhattan. The judge is Ronnie Abrams. The narrative at the New York Times is that Abrams’ “husband, Greg Andres, is an accomplished former Brooklyn federal prosecutor….” Our take is that Greg Andres is part of Ronnie Abrams’ immediate household and a law partner of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, a law firm that has problematic ties to Bankman-Fried’s bankrupt crypto exchange, FTX, and another crypto firm it became enmeshed with, BlockFi, which is also now in bankruptcy. According to the Davis Polk website, the following occurred in July of this year: “Davis Polk advised BlockFi, Inc. as borrower under a $400 million loan facility provided by West Realm Shires Inc, an affil...

Schiff: House Select Committee Has Evidence That Trump “Engaged in Likely Multiple Criminal Acts”

Image
(Here they go again!) Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) went on CNN’s “Don Lemon Tonight” to tout the work of the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6th riot. In that interview, Schiff declared that the Committee has enough evidence showing former President Donald Trump “engaged in likely multiple criminal acts.” While vague on the specific crimes, Schiff emphasized that the Justice Department did not have to wait any further to launch a criminal investigation based on what has already been disclosed. While the Committee has disclosed new evidence in the form of videotapes and testimony, it has not presented new material evidence of criminal acts in my view. That could still come but the first two hearings largely focused on a “conspiracy” to challenge the election certification and allegations that Trump knew that there was no compelling evidence of widespread election fraud. If there is evidence of criminal conduct by former president Trump or others, most of us would supp...
