Have You Already Chose The Billionaire You'll Be Voting For This November?

Image
(voza0db): Don't be sad my Fellow Slaves that the following also applies to the DNC! The number of billionaire donors to the GOP has been  rapidly increasing  vs. previous midterm election cycles -  dwarfing the amount Democrats have received from their own Democrat donors  (and which is largely due to George Soros). Ken Griffin, Founder and CEO, Citadel (Blake Masters, Reuters) In particular, Citadel’s Ken Griffin, Blackstone Inc. Chief Executive Officer Steve Schwarzman and Oracle Corp. founder Larry Ellison have been ramping up contributions. The three men, worth a collective $150 billion, are among the 12 top political donors ahead of the elections , according to the most recent data from OpenSecrets. Of that dozen, 10 are backing Republicans in a big way: They've spent a cumulative $338 million, up 250% from the 2018 cycle. - Bloomberg And as  Bloomberg  further notes, this is a trend which extends to the  top 100 political donors  - among which some $574 million has gone

The New Cuban Missile Crisis That Isn’t

Image
by Dmitri Orlov for the Saker blog The Cuban Missile Crisis is a malicious misnomer. Cuba never had any nuclear missiles; it temporarily played host to some Soviet ones. The crisis started when Americans put their intermediate-range nuclear missiles in Turkey that posed a new threat the Soviet Union, which responded by placing similar missiles in Cuba, evening the score. And so it should be called the American Missile Crisis. What’s happening now couldn’t be more different. Unless you spent the last few weeks hiding under a rock, you have probably heard that some sort of new nuclear crisis is underway because of “Putin’s nuclear blackmail” or some such. Some people have suffered nervous exhaustion as a result, neglecting their duties and generally letting themselves go. Take former British PM Liz Truss, for instance. T

King Charles & David Attenborough parrot WWF activist nonsense they naively accept as ‘science’ Susan Crockford on King Charles & David Attenborough parrot WWF activist nonsense they naively accept as ‘science’ The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) was created in 1961 to raise funds for wildlife conservation and immediately recruited European royalty to help attract wealthy benefactors. At first it was a novel good cause and this is why Britain’s  royal family , plus their  close friend David Attenborough , have been loyal supporters for six decades. However, for more than twenty years, the WWF has not been the benevolent conservation organization that it was in the 1960s yet these powerful men support them with more vigor than ever. Prince Philip was the first president of the WWF-UK but ended his association with the group when they morphed into a politicized activist organization lobbying for the limitation of fossil fuels to curb  human-caused global warming . However, Prince Charl

Slum and Spectacle

Slum and Spectacle Electoral politics in the U.S. and the potential midterm Senate fix. Good Citizen                                                      The evolution of American political candidates. The only thing slummier and more detestable in the U.S. than the sidewalks of Philadelphia or City Council of Seattle or the deductive reasoning of The View hosts is the spectacle of never-ending electoral politics. As soon as one election cycle ends, the next one begins. Perhaps not on your television, but behind the closed ballroom doors of five-star hotels at black-tie fundraisers and $25k-a-plate pay-to-play corporate sector politico whore-a-thons. Like every other industry in the U.S., electoral politics is all about greed and hoarding as much money as possible while inventing an industry of “jobs” that attracts more functionary and inept consultants and advisors than the financial services industry. It’s become another corporate-state money laundering operation while attention snat
