Uche Nwaneri: Former NFL player, COVID-19 vaccine advocate dies suddenly at 38




A former Jacksonville Jaguars player, Uche Nwaneri, who advocated jailing those who refused to take the COVID-19 vaccine, has died suddenly, aged 38.

Nwaneri died of acute heart failure on Friday, December 30, 2022.

The Atlanta, Georgia-based businessman was said to be at his wife’s home in West Lafayette, Indianapolis, United States, when he suddenly collapsed.

She found him unresponsive in a bedroom in her home and dialed emergency services.

Emergency responders confirmed him dead at the scene.

An autopsy conducted on the deceased showed no sign of foul play, according to local reports.

Nwaneri played 104 games for the Jags as an offensive lineman in his seven years from 2007 until 2013.

He joined the Dallas Cowboys in June 2014 but was cut two months later.

In the heat of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, Nwaneri advocated the COVID-19 mandate and argued in favour of jailing those who refused the shot.


At least it wasn't a tackle!
