How Big Oil Misled The Public Into Believing Plastic Would Be Recycled Wrong Kind of Green Aug 11, 2021 Social Engineering , Uncategorized NPR September 11, 2020 By Laura Sullivan   Landfill workers bury all plastic except soda bottles and milk jugs at Rogue Disposal & Recycling in southern Oregon. Laura Sullivan/NPR Note: An audio version of this story aired on NPR’s Planet Money.  Listen to the episode here. Laura Leebrick, a manager at Rogue Disposal & Recycling in southern Oregon, is standing on the end of its landfill watching an avalanche of plastic trash pour out of a semitrailer: containers, bags, packaging, strawberry containers, yogurt cups. None of this plastic will be turned into new plastic things. All of it is buried. “To me that felt like it was a betrayal of the public trust,” she said. “I had been lying to people … unwittingly.” Rogue, like most recycling companies, had been sending plastic...

Amish Farm Fined $250K, Facing Jail Time for Humanely Raising and Selling Food to Willing Customers Matt Agorist  -  August 9, 2021 Bird-in-Hand, PA — Amos Miller and his family has been running Miller’s Organic Farm for over a century, providing willing and highly satisfied customers with milk, chicken, beef, and eggs. All of the food coming from Miller’s farm is beyond organic, humanely raised in a non-factory setting and the animals treated with dignity as they spend their entire lives naturally and stress-free out on pasture. By any moral standard, Miller’s farm is the leading example of what farming in America should look like. Unfortunately, because Miller uses humane techniques and treats his animals well, this has put a government target on his back. Recently, federal Judge Edward G. Smith, imposed sanctions on his farm, ordering the family farm to pay over $250,000 in fines or go to jail. Because the Millers don’t use the USDA factory farm methods, this makes them n...

American Democrats—Then and Now

Image
American Democrats—Then and Now Gary Galles Seldom have Americans seen such blatant disregard for their property rights and the Constitution which is supposedly there to protect them as today.  The Biden Administration extended the CDC eviction moratorium despite admitting it was “unable to find legal authority for a new, targeted eviction moratorium,” after extensive efforts to do so.  It did so despite a recent Supreme Court ruling (echoing a series of lower court decisions) making it almost guaranteed that the extension would be overturned. Four Justices ruled it would be unconstitutional, period, but Justice Brett Kavanaugh, the key fifth vote, sided with liberals not to overturn it, not because it was constitutional, but because it was going to quickly expire. However, he also  wrote  that “clear and specific congressional authorization [i.e., new legislation] would be necessary for the CDC to extend the moratorium past July 31.”    No such legisl...

A mass psychosis is an epidemic of madness and it occurs when a large portion of a society loses touch with reality and descends into delusions. Such a phenomenon is not a thing of fiction. Two examples of mass psychoses are the American and European witch hunts 16th and 17th centuries and the rise of totalitarianism in the 20th century. This video will aim to answer questions surrounding mass psychosis: What is it?...

CNN has given voice to a 12-year-old girl who has asked her local school board to institute a mask mandate. Lila Hartley is a seventh-grader at Landon Middle School in Jacksonville, Florida. CNN interviewed her and ten-year-old brother Will, who says he double-masks at school because he’s not yet old enough to get vaccinated.
