The Variants of COVID Madness: Stepping Into the Breach

Image
Omar Khan The Variants of COVID Madness: Stepping Into the Breach Ellie Wiesel, and I am paraphrasing here, suggested that whenever human rights are threatened or people are marginalized, stripped of their humanity, the center of the universe shifts there. Well, the center of the universe is extremely mobile these days. It is hovering with David Turner’s son who he reported being in the ICU for three days from a second vaccine dose with myocarditis and chest pain. He writes, ‘Docs say they’ve seen 60 other boys with this. Want to help pay the $100k bill? The vax is experimental and not FDA approved. More caution, testing, and zero censorship is needed.’ The center of the universe must surely have been present as we saw a German policeman literally smack a young boy approximately 9 years of age during a protest. Where does that maliciously impotent fury, striking out at the utterly vulnerable and defenseless come from? The center of the universe surely made a pit stop as an elde...

Their Own Stupidity and Selfishness

Their Own Stupidity and Selfishness By eric - August 13, 2021 We hear – we cannot escape hearing – about the putative “stupidity” and “selfishness” of healthy people who refuse to pretend they are sick (for the sake of the feelings of people who are sick in the head) and who are refusing to be injected with a substance that has made tens of thousands very sick. Including sick from the sickness supposedly “vaccinated” against. It seems a little  . . . stupid, does it not? I’ll speak now of my own “stupidity” and “selfishness.” I have never smoked a cigarette in my life. I drink occasionally and moderately. I eat almost no processed food – the occasional indulgence excepted – and I make the effort to hit the gym every other day and the trail (to run) on the days I don’t hit the gym. For these very selfish – but far from stupid – reasons, I am . . . healthy . I can still wear the size 32 waist pants I wore in hig...

In Praise Of Men ~ A Music Thread

In Praise Of Men ~ A Music Thread They've given us so much, from indoor toilets and lifesaving medicine to some damn good music.  (They've also caused a lot of trouble, but we'll ignore that part because women these days seem to be making up for lost time.) The Post-Partisan Emporium's Purpose and Standards   This site does not have a particular political position. We welcome articles from various points of view, and civil debate when differences arise.   Contributions of articles from posters are always welcome. Unless a contribution is really beyond the pale, we do not edit what goes up as topics for discussion. If you would like to contribute an article, let one of the moderators know. Likewise if you would like to become an official contributor so you can put up articles yourself, but for that we need to exchange email addresses and we need a Google email address from you. Contributions can be anything, including fiction, poems, cartoons, or songs. They can...

"The Propaganda War (Part II)" by CJ Hopkins

The Propaganda War (Part II) CJ Hopkins 10 min ago The column you are about to read is propaganda. Yes, that’s right … propaganda. It isn’t political satire or commentary, or objective news or information, or unbiased, verified scientific fact. It is propaganda, pure and simple. That isn’t a confession, a disclaimer, or a warning. I am not ashamed of writing propaganda. Most everything you see and read on the Internet, and in newspapers, and on television, and in textbooks, and novels, and on advertising billboards, and everywhere else, is propaganda. There is nothing wrong with propaganda. The question is who is doing it, and what they are doing it for. Here’s the definition in the Cambridge Dictionary : “information, ideas, opinions, or images, often only giving one part of an argument, that are broadcast, published, or in some other way spread with the intention of influencing people’s opinions” That is what the column you are reading is … an attempt to influence pe...

Gaslighting: The Psychology of Shaping Another’s Reality

Gaslighting: The Psychology of Shaping Another’s Reality By Cynthia Chung for The Saker Blog “But I don’t want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked. “Oh, you can’t help that,” said the Cat: “we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.” “How do you know I’m mad?” said Alice. “You must be,” said the Cat, “or you wouldn’t have come here.” – Lewis Carroll’s “ Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland ” We are living in a world where the degree of disinformation and outright lying has reached such a state of affairs that, possibly for the first time ever, we see the majority of the western world starting to question their own and surrounding level of sanity. The increasing frenzied distrust in everything “authoritative” mixed with the desperate incredulity that “everybody couldn’t possibly be in on it!” is slowly rocking many back and forth into a tighter and tighter straight jacket. “Question everything” has become the new motto, but are we capable of answering those questions? Presently the answer...
