control the language, control the discourse

Image
control the language, control the discourse the dark sorcery of monopoly on meaning el gato malo defining the words and symbols in which we image the world is a powerful kind of magic. watch as the malleability of language distorts it from facilitating clear thought and expression and transforms it into a misframed bog of quicksand so subtle that you fail to notice that you are drowning. unless you are paying close attention, you will not even see it happen. you’ll just presume it was always this way. so will anyone new to the issue. oceania has never been at war with eastasia. oceania has always been at war with eastasia. Ami Horowitz @AmiHorowitz The Left has always looked to redefine words. Sadly @MerriamWebster has joined their ranks. December 7th 2021 16 Retweets 44 Likes examples of this from “vaccine” to “herd immunity” to “woman” abound. the point is to erect a semantic smokescreen and weaponize language into politics. it becomes a tool to obscure rather than reveal and to s...

A Crisis in Crisis

Image
A Crisis in Crisis Winter looks more demoralized than "dark" Brian Mowrey I try not to use this journal as an outlet for “personal notes,” but as media/state intentions haven’t looked this ambiguous in months, what is one left with but stray musings? The obvious, primary danger of a state of emergency is that the judiciary becomes defunct. In a vestigially federalized government like the US, this would mean that checks on the executive would devolve from the Federal courts to the states - from Judicial Review, to Nullification. Arguably, this is where it the country should move in the long run - but in the short term, when the Federal government is still accustomed to direct mediation of state affairs, it would have represented a precursor to a second civil war. And yet it turned out that our Federal judiciary is  not  defunct. The flimsy OSHA “mandate” - really just a pretext for collusion between the administration and corporations - was suspended, effectively refuting the ...

From Dodgy Dossiers to the Sacking of Whitlam: The British Empire Stands Exposed

From Dodgy Dossiers to the Sacking of Whitlam: The British Empire Stands Exposed Matthew Ehret I used to believe as many do, in a story called “the American Empire”. Over the last decade of research, that belief has changed a bit. The more I looked at the top down levers of world influence shaping past and present events that altered history, the hand of British Intelligence just kept slapping me squarely in the face at nearly every turn. Who controlled the dodgy Steele dossier that put Russiagate into motion driving a four year campaign to impeach President Trump?  British Intelligence . How about the intelligence used to justify the bombing of Iraq?  That was British Intelligence too. How about the Clash of Civilizations strategy used to blow up the middle east over decades?  That just so happened to be British Intelligence’s own Sir Bernard Lewis. How about the CFR takeover over of American foreign policy during the 20th century?  That is the British Roundtable Mo...

The war on a virus has resulted in colossal failure, and the ruling class is determined to cover up this undeniable reality

The war on a virus has resulted in colossal failure, and the ruling class is determined to cover up this undeniable reality The sunk cost fallacy. Jordan Schachtel The war on a virus is long lost, and the sunk costs keep piling up. Whether you believe that this was all to bring about a Great Reset or some of the actors involved genuinely wanted to stop a virus, the result is now clear. The war on COVID-19 is over and it has resulted in colossal loss. Not a single battle was won. They lost the war, they know they lost the war, and now the losing side of the war — the global “elite” — is attempting to cover up this reality by any means necessary, even if it means dragging the entirety of humanity down with them. Paul Weston on the crooked, proto-fascist EU President Ursula von der Leyen

Paul Weston on the crooked, proto-fascist EU President Ursula von der Leyen By Kathy Gyngell MANY  TCW Defending Freedom  readers will know Paul Weston from his informed below-the-line comments on the site over the years. Others will know him for his own YouTube video analyses of ‘Covid lies, damn lies and statistics’ and other topics. It is the latest of these we want to share with you today – his expose of EU President Ursula von der Leyen and the resurrection of fascism in Europe. Paul dismembers the financial malfeasance behind her arbitrary billion-euro vaccine order from her close friend Albert Bourla, the  Pfizer chief executive  who seems to make a quite a success of chumming up with the gullible great and good  despite his company being fined £2billion in recent years for bad practice. What never ceases to amaze me is how our woke social justice warriors in the press and on TV manage to turn a blind eye to th...
