Liking What You See: A Documentary

Liking What You See: A Documentary by Ted Chiang "BEAUTY IS THE PROMISE OF HAPPINESS." — Stendhal Tamera Lyons, first-year student at Pembleton: I can't believe it. I visited the campus last year, and I didn't hear a word about this. Now I get here and it turns out people want to make calli a requirement. One of the things I was looking forward to about college was getting rid of this, you know, so I could be like everybody else. If I'd known there was even a chance I'd have to keep it, I probably would've picked another college. I feel like I've been scammed. I turn eighteen next week, and I'm getting my calli turned off that day. If they vote to make it a requirement, I don't know what I'll do; maybe I'll transfer, I don't know. Right now I feel like going up to people and telling them, "Vote no." There's probably some campaign I can work for. Maria deSouza, third-year student, President of the Students for Equality ...

Mass Formation: Deployed on You After Over 200 Years of Study

Mass Formation: Deployed on You After Over 200 Years of Study Junior academics cited by "Forbes", AP, Reuters and "The Independent" have not done their homework Robert W Malone MD, MS Today in “factchecking the factcheckers”, junior academics cited by  Forbes ,  Associated Press ,  Reuters  and  The Independent  have just not done their homework concerning the work of Professor Dr. Mattias Desmet of the University of Ghent in Belgum. All I can say about this is that I hope that their naive, ignorant, grandstanding statements to the press are brought up during their future Academic Tenure and Advancement reviews. But there has been an amazingly coordinated effort to shoot the messenger and actively character assassinate (or “ defenstrate ”) me as a surrogate while avoiding any reference to the  highly credentialed academic  Professor Dr. Mattias Desmet who actually developed the theory and has documented the extensive evidence in an upcoming academ...

Are the vaccines doomed, or are we?

Are the vaccines doomed, or are we? eugyppius In the period from 6 December to 2 January ( Table 5 on p. 25 ), double (but not triple) vaccinated teenagers and adults were substantially over-represented in Omicron infections across Germany. About 45% of teenagers aged 12–17 are vaccinated but unboosted, but they accounted for almost 55% of symptomatic Omicron cases. Only 37% of adults aged 18–59 are vaccinated but unboosted, but they accounted for 66% of symptomatic Omicron cases. Finally, a mere 21.8% of adults aged 60 or over are vaccinated but unboosted, but they accounted for 46% of Omicron cases. Yes, these data might be called “unadjusted.” You might hope that population density, or differences in treatment-seeking behaviour, or relative risk perception – anything but properties inherent to the vaccines – can explain them away. But Germany is not alone in these numbers; preliminary evidence for negative vaccine efficacy against Omicron every day grows more abundant. There was als...

The Globalist Fourth Reich

Image
The Globalist Fourth Reich The Globalist Fourth Reich: After the Second World War, a power vacuum had to be rapidly filled where a world formerly at war could somehow return to peace. In light of lessons learned, an understanding developed that military might was not optional for the state – to be used only for defense – but mandatory to maintain power, at times aggressively. In other words, the aggressive militarist role of the State was given after WW2, writes author and scholar Steve Brown, a regular to The Herland Report. Prior to that, certain influential idealists believed that the world could be at peace with competition not represented by warfare, but by trade and commerce, without a return to mercantilism, ie nascent globalist ideology. At that time, capitalistic theories about commerce prevailed in the west (tinged with socialist ideology in the form of state control of capitalism. In the east a more radical socialist ideology — perhaps suited to eastern thought and experienc...
