The Mark of the Beast

The Mark of the Beast James Howard Kunstler So, you’re feeling down and blue about the Woke Luciferian madness shading our American life under its baleful bat-wings? A lot of my friends and loved ones are down and blue. At this darkest of dark hours, I have some advice for you. Say ‘okay’ to whatever shade the universe is throwing on you. Rise! Go with it. Run with it and mount it. Ride it until you exhaust the beast that has made itself your enemy. Ride it until it goes to ground and whimpers. Because that is how it ends and you get your life back. The frightful swans, black, white, and gray, are circling in the sky like those old air-traffic jams above the runways of O’Hare in bad weather. They are looking to land, and as they do, they will change everything. Enough people around the country will finally get their minds right. They will come back to themselves wondering…  where have I been ? This is what is coming at us (let’s count the ways): The Covid-19 spell breaks. The beast tho

The Davos World Economic Forum (WEF) is a premier forum for governments, global corporations and international entrepreneurs. Founded in 1971 by engineer and economist Klaus Schwab, the WEF describes  its mission  as “shaping global, regional and industry agendas” and “improving the state of the world”. According to its website, “moral and intellectual integrity is at the heart of everything it does.” The WEF has been involved in the coronavirus pandemic in several ways. First , the WEF was, together with the Gates Foundation, a sponsor of the prescient  “Event 201”  coronavirus pandemic simulation exercise, held in New York City on October 18, 2019 – t

A comparison of age adjusted all-cause mortality rates in England between vaccinated and unvaccinated

A comparison of age adjusted all-cause mortality rates in England between vaccinated and unvaccinated Norman Fenton and Martin Neil The UK Government's own data does not support the claims made for vaccine effectiveness/safety.  In a  previous post  we argued that the most reliable long-term measure of Covid-19 vaccine effectiveness/safety is the age adjusted all-cause mortality rate. If, over a reasonably prolonged period, fewer vaccinated people die, from whatever cause, including Covid-19, than unvaccinated people then we could conclude that the benefits of the vaccine outweigh the risks. We also pointed out that, to avoid the confounding effect of age, it is critical that data for each age category is available, rather than the aggregated data because, clearly, aggregated data might exaggerate vaccine mortality rates if more older people, with shorter expected mortality, are included. The UK roll out of the vaccine was executed in descending age order, from older to younger, ex

The Mystery of the Variants

The Mystery of the Variants A new preprint on recent evolution in the SARS-2 spike protein raises bizarre questions. eugyppius While the press narrative on Variants of Concern involves massive, manipulative exaggeration, there is a real phenomenon at the heart of it. The SARS-2 genome, particularly the portion that codes for the S1 subunit of spike, began experiencing extreme evolutionary pressure between June and October 2020. Nobody knows why, but this much is clear: The variants – including the Delta strains that destroy the effectiveness of our vaccines – arose as SARS-2 responded to this pressure. You could almost say that the virus began to escape our vaccines, before anybody outside of the trials had been vaccinated. This is the bizarre story that emerges from “ Rapid and parallel adaptive mutations in spike S1 drive clade success in SARS-CoV-2 ”, an August preprint from researchers in Washington on SARS-2 evolution over the past year.
