FIFA is a corrupt mafia that is demoralizing football as much as American pro sportsball. Instead of boycotting Qatar, the “free world” teams are holding a virtue signaling competition. Sadly, the rainbow drama drowns out the real tragedy - over 6,000 laborers died building the infrastructure under horrific working conditions. FIFA takes bribes with one hand, then virtue signals LGBTQ/ESG/DEI with the other:
The previous World Cup in Russia was fun and defending champions France are hobbled by injuries to key players. As much as I’d love to see Ronaldo’s Portugal or Messi’s Argentina win, I predict that Brazil will take home the trophy. Here are the winners and losers of the World Cuck thus far:
