Ukraine now owns one of the world's most advanced air defense systems [NATO PROPAGANDA] to protect it from Russian cruise missiles, after Germany's somewhat delayed delivery of a IRIS-T Surface-Launched-Missile (SLM) system. It is the first of four such systems expected to be delivered to Ukraine by next year.

On Wednesday, German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht confirmed the IRIS-T delivery, and added a further three air defense systems would be delivered to Ukraine next year. Lambrecht spoke to reporters in Brussles ahead of a NATO defense minister summit. 

"Ukraine urgently needs air defense systems and artillery and this is exactly what Germany delivers," she said.
