DIANA JOHNSTONE: The Specter of Germany Is Rising September 12, 2022 To meet the imaginary Russian threat to Western Europe, Germany will lead an expanded, militarized EU. Olaf Scholz, federal chancellor of Germany, meets Volodymyr Zelenskyy, president of Ukraine, in Kiev, Feb. 14, 2022.  (President of Ukraine) By  Diana Johnstone in Paris  Special to Consortium News T he European Union is girding for a long war against Russia that appears clearly contrary to European economic interests and social stability. A war that is apparently irrational – as many are – has deep emotional roots and claims ideological justification. Such wars are hard to end because they extend outside the range of rationality. For decades after the Soviet Union entered Berlin and decisively defeated the Third Reich, Soviet leaders worried about the threat of “German revanchism.” Since World War II could be seen as German revenge for being deprived of victory in World War I, couldn’t aggressive Germa...

Exposed: The ‘97% of scientists agree with manmade global warming’ lie

Image
File this one under 'Lies, Damn Lies and Statistics'.  I came across this information several years ago.  For those who haven't, well, here you go... Exposed: The ‘97% of scientists agree with manmade global warming’ lie By David Craig OUR government is imposing draconian limitations on our lifestyles, our economy and our finances to save the planet from supposed catastrophic anthropogenic global warming (CAGW), now renamed ‘climate change’.  Probably one of the most repeated arguments you’ll hear in support of the need to achieve ‘net zero’ is that ’97 per cent of scientists agree CAGW is happening’. President Obama is just one of many who have made this claim: ‘Ninety-seven per cent of scientists agree: climate change is real, man-made and dangerous.’ So did President Biden’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, when he warned of the ‘crippling consequences’ of climate change and said:  ‘Ninety-seven per cent of the world’s scientists tell us this is...

Sustainable Green Delusion... Again!

In relation to this article  I need to share with my fellow MMS/3i's, that for some reason now "think" that nuclear energy is what we need to reach some moronic level by 2030, or 2040, or 2050 (the target year is dependent on the Green Gang one belongs to), another little piece of Reality Unit 3 is an  EPR  reactor and has been under construction since 2005. The start of commercial operation was originally planned for May 2009  but was postponed repeatedly. The reactor eventually started up on 21 December 2021, and electricity production started on 12 March 2022. In May 2022, foreign material was found in the turbine steam reheater, and the plant was shut down for about three months of repair work.  Regular production is expected to begin in December 2022, after a test production phase. So... Finland (a Plantation with experience building these tools) has been building a single reactor since 2005! After 17 YEARS  the unit is still in testing phase and WITH ...

If You Thought OPERATION COVIDIUS Was Bad...

For those that went on a toilet paper buying lunacy when OPERATION COVIDIUS tools started to be deployed back in 2020, behavior that led me to make the following meme FUN NEWS are emerging from the Land of Sanctions... Germany! Largest German toilet paper manufacturer Hakle is bankrupt The toilet paper manufacturer Hakle has to file for bankruptcy. After the corona measures had already driven up the costs for logistics and raw materials, the high energy costs due to the anti-Russian sanctions were too much for the Düsseldorf group. The company in the paper industry, Hakle, which has existed since 1928, is insolvent – that  reported  on Monday, among other things, the Focus. In particular, the current energy and material prices due to the anti-Russian sanctions and the logistical restrictions due to the global corona measures since 2020 have caused the Düsseldorf-based group to stumble. Most recently, the exorbitant rise in prices – despite enormous price increases – could no l...
