The United States is ruled by a fanatical death cult

The USA did not win World War Two. The vast majority of casualties occurred on the Eastern Front between the Red Army of the Soviet Union and the German Wehrmacht. It was Hollywood which claimed the war was won by the USA (and not, as was the case, the Russians). Lend lease – far more generous to the USSR than that which bankrupted Britain – was of course a huge help.

The USA has not won a war with a near peer enemy since the 19th century. The Spanish-American war of 1898 ended Spanish imperial claims in the Americas and the Philippines.

The first postwar US adventure was in Korea, to halt the spread of communism on that peninsula. Initially wildly successful, the US and its allies were pushed back to the current ceasefire line by a massive Chinese counterattack, resulting in the division of the country into the communist North and the US-sponsored South.

In the next decade the US brought war to Cambodia and Vietnam. French power had collapsed and again a communist insurgency threatened to dominate the country. The US fought a long and costly war, bombing across the Cambodian border at times, only to withdraw and see both Vietnam and Cambodia fall to communism.

In the following decade the US invaded Grenada and Panama, followed by the Gulf War in Kuwait. Later in the same decade the US destroyed Iraq and swiftly moved on to Afghanistan, withdrawing in disarray last year. The Taliban are better armed than most nations now. Iran has filled the power vacuum in Yemen and Iraq. US adventures have strengthened their enemies.

The result of these wars cannot sensibly be described as victory since the US has either failed in its aims to prevent communism or to do any of its hoped-for ‘nation building’. This leaves the strange conclusion that while the US is certainly the world’s only hyperpower, and could on paper fight two major wars on different sides of the planet at the same time, it arguably cannot win wars against vastly inferior opponents. In fact, it helps them to win.

The present talk of confronting Russia or China - or even both – seems much riskier when viewed through the prism of US military adventurism since World War 2.

The destruction of Libya destroyed the most successful country in Africa, replacing a secular state with one where executions can be witnessed in car parks. Yemen has been ruined and is still being bombed using weapons sold by the USA, UK and France. Its territory has been seized illegally and if we care nothing for its population the irreplaceable beauty of its architectural heritage is being reduced to rubble.

The current proxy war in Ukraine is a direct result of the US installing a client government following the US backed coup in 2014. Zelensky is reputed to be a billionaire, a placemen for an oligarch who also chose the previous president. Over two hundred former and current heads of state were revealed to have been storing the proceeds of corruption in Ukraine, which according to the Pandora Papers ranked in 2021 as at least the third most corrupt nation on earth.

This war is being fought to achieve regime change in Russia. The measures taken to destroy the Russian economy have not succeeded, though the Russians will undoubtedly suffer for the near future. The ruble is higher now than it was before the war, having moved to a gold standard. China has promised to buy all Russian oil and gas in future. The UAE and Saudi Arabia are no longer taking orders from the USA and the UK, snubbing both Antony Blinken, the US Secretary of State, and also the Prime Minister of the UK, Boris Johnson, in the past few weeks.

India too is no longer interested in taking orders from the USA, noting the convenient removal of the former Prime Minister Imran Khan from power in neighbouring Pakistan. The Solomon Islands have signed a security deal with China which changes the balance of power in the South Pacific. The USA may well get to test the hypothesis that it can fight two war theatres simultaneously if it continues to pursue a policy of confrontation and rule-giving with China.

It is clear that the neoconservative faction which directs US foreign policy is determined to continue this pattern of US actions abroad. People such as Blinken and Nuland think that no amount of your suffering is a price to high for you to pay to force their agenda.

What is this agenda? It is, in my view, a vestige of US world dominance. Thanks to the Neocons, the US is no longer dominant. This faction cannot and will not accept this fact. Their policies have done more to undermine the United States than could any foreign power. So deranged are they that the dollar is diminished, and Europe facing economic collapse, whilst countries once friendly to them now turn their backs. And still they will not stop.

For this reason we see the insane policies of economic ruin inflicted on Europe, compounding soaring inflation resulting from the disastrous COVID policies. Two years of printing money and shuttering businesses has seen the greatest transfer of wealth from the middle classes to the corporations and billionaires in history. If the plan is not to destroy Europe completely, it is certainly seen as an acceptable price – which will never be paid by the architects of ruin.

It will be paid by you, by me, by the people of Ukraine whose armed forces faced certain defeat from the first few days of the war. Ukraine has never had any hope whatsoever of a military victory, nor even a stalemate. The reason people may believe otherwise is the same reason people believe masks work, mRNA jabs are safe and effective, and that the inhumane and ruinous theatre of lockdown is sensible. Many people will be very upset when they realise they have been lied to about this war.

In short, we live under a Regime which is indeed an empire of lies. This is no longer ‘The Free World’. It is increasingly expensive, illiberal and chaotic. Mass media manufactures a parallel reality to compete with the evidence of your senses. It suggests you are mad if you are not hysterical about the Current Catchphrase. Finally, no one is free in a time of collapse.

That time is drawing near. We are entranced by the supremely effective Regime propaganda machine to believe that all this is Putin’s fault. It is the result of the United States being steered into constant war by a death cult whose bloodlust is rivalled only by their desperation. In this latest adventure they fear a return to the foundational sanity of US isolationism, and a policy of cooperation and not confrontation between nations. Never forget - we are ruled by people who hate peace, who have spent the last thirty years losing a war which ended in 1989, and who will spend any number of lives to cling to the power of dealing death.
