5GW Counter-Offensive - The Censorship Regime and the Road to 2024

Russell Brand, Elon Musk, Rumble, and the Next Wave of Attacks

Shhhh-1 - Deenspiration

It’s that special time once again, folks!

I’m not talking about pumpkin-spice lattes and fall colors; I’m referring to the quadrennial censorship offensive that veterans of this 5G war have become all too familiar with when the tech tyrants and the various governments of the Western hegemonic establishment begin targeting and systematically weeding out dissent ahead of major elections.

You can expect a ramping up of censorship in all of its forms between now and November 2024. We’re already seeing the targeting of specific individuals, governments cutting access to certain platforms, political attack groups being activated, and financial platforms freezing the assets of certain publications.

The most recent effort in the current ongoing wave of attacks comes from the U.K. Parliament, where the long-awaited Online Safety Bill will soon become law. The bill, which the British Government has been drooling over for a while now, sets “tougher standards” for social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.

The bill’s memorable long-form title is “A Bill to make provision for and in connection with the regulation by OFCOM of certain internet services; for and in connection with communications offences; and for connected purposes” and it really just rolls of the tongue.

As the brilliant title suggests, the UK’s Office of Communications (OfCom) is at the heart of this endeavor. Ofcom’s recently appointed Chief Executive Dame Melanie Dawes seemed genuinely gleeful in a recent presser were she proclaimed:

“Today is a major milestone in the mission to create a safer life online for children and adults in the UK. Everyone at Ofcom feels privileged to be entrusted with this important role, and we’re ready to start implementing these new laws.” (#)

The U.K. Parliament claims that the bill will make the U.K. “the safest place” in the world to be online.

Reading between the lines, what they really mean is that the OSB will lead to a much more censored, locked-down internet for British users, and it will also establish a precedent for other nations that have been infected by the Western hegemon.

In a nutshell, the OSB forces the various tech platforms to comply with its ruleset or face humongous fines, which, if ignored, will lead to a decision as to whether or not the platform will be banned. We saw something similar last year when France made threats against Rumble.

There is a lot of dull jargon in this bill, as is the case with all extremely consequential bills, but peppered throughout are rather vague, yet alarming clauses. For example, Section 10 details the crimes of transmitting “harmful, false and threatening communications” and then refuses to clearly define what will be considered “harmful” and what the criteria will be to determine whether or not something is “false”.

Additionally, the bill makes it a crime to “send a message” containing false information in clause 156 … then, in the next breath, grants immunity to every newspaper, television channel, and streaming service in clause 157.

Of course, the bill is being marketed in a much different light than I am portraying it here. The mainstream coverage of this bill puts the ‘combating child pornography’ window-dressing front and center while ignoring the fact that 99% of child pornography exists in the deep web, far outside of this piece of legislation’s purview.

But we all know that in order to steal people’s rights away, you need to have a good pretext.

Much like the Patriot Act, this OSB plays upon the psychology of the undiscerning by using evocative framing and claiming to combat something that is far removed from how the bill will actually be used. In the coming months, we will likely see the U.K. Parliament issuing threats to various platforms demanding that they remove anyone who is an effective critic of the state on the grounds that they are ‘peddling harmful conspiracy theories.’

One such campaign is currently making headlines …

The Blatant Targeting of Russell Brand, and Others

Allegations of sexual abuse should always be taken seriously. Unfortunately, rape has been fairly common throughout all of human history.

Typically, when men hear that a woman has been abused, it triggers various psychological responses, including anger and aggression. Women, especially those who’ve been abused in some way themselves, tend to feel a bonding sympathy for the victim and disgust toward the alleged abuser. That being said, it was discovered long ago that even accusations of rape, without proof or supporting evidence, would also incite these psychological responses, whether they were true or not.

They tried this strategy with Julian Assange; once it was evident that most people empathized with him, there were suddenly allegations of sexual abuse floating around and even an attempt to have him extradited to Sweden. Assange immediately responded by denouncing the allegations and claiming that they were a smear campaign put together by the CIA. (#)

They tried this very same tactic against Matt Gaetz last year as well. The Biden administration conducted a sweeping investigation into the matter and, in the end, found that there was insufficient evidence to convince a jury, all the while leftist pundits and some of the largest media outlets spoke as though the claims were incontrovertible facts.

The same was also done, unsurprisingly, to Donald Trump with both the E. Jean Carrol and Stormy Daniels fiascos. As I’ve stated many times, the Deep-State playbook is actually quite small; they just rehash the same handful of strategies endlessly.

The exact same ‘guilty even when innocent’ treatment is currently being given to Brand.

I want to reiterate that my scrutiny should not be mistaken for a dismissal of the allegations. Whether the accusations are true or not doesn’t really factor into my critique; the point I’m trying to make is that the only reason this is even happening right now is that there appears to be a coordinated effort to remove as many effective communicators from the 5GW chessboard as possible in the lead up to 2024.

Remember, these are the same pundits and media conglomerates that have so far protected men like Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Joe Biden and all of the other accused individuals who still remain loyal to establishment dogma; the censorship regime only go after those who’ve defected.

Additionally, Russell Brand has made no bones about the hedonistic lifestyle he once lived, and has since transformed into a man who answers to a higher power, who advocates for a natural and sober lifestyle, and who has started a family with a woman whom he clearly loves.

May be an image of 3 people and text that says 'Kate Shemirani Follow Russell Brand. Stops taking illicit drugs. Stops drinking alcohol. Gets divorced from unhappy relationship and leaves the whole Hollywood life behind. Gets remarried, totally in love And has two children with another on the way. Leads a completely different life and begins podcast, tells the truth And exposes the system and narrative Now he gets attacked. But so does his wife and children. To those on here literally vibrating with excitement, eagerly awaiting another's downfall ...you will be next.'

The British Government—the very same government that just passed that atrocity of a bill—is now actively taking an interest in these allegations. In addition to conservative legislator Caroline Nokes, who “urged police in both Britain and the United States to investigate the ‘incredibly shocking’ allegations”, and even Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has now issued a statement through his spokesperson:

Max Blain, spokesman for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, said the claims were “very serious and concerning,” and those making the allegations should be “treated seriously and treated with sensitivity.”(#)

Again, these unproven allegations are so important that the current Prime Minister is taking the time to address them. Let’s not forget that Brand is one of Rishi Sunak’s biggest critics. Do you think the British PM is acting out of compassion for these women or out of self-interest?

The British Government has since asked the various big-tech platforms to censor Brand’s online content, and some of these platforms were quick to comply. This is all directly connected to the aforementioned Online Safety Bill, as well as the Trusted News Initiative, which fancies itself,TN

“a global coalition of news organizations and tech firms with the stated goal of combating fake news. It was set up in 2019 by the BBC to protect audiences and users from disinformation, particularly around moments of jeopardy, such as elections.”

I believe it’s not some wild stretch to say that we might be seeing more of this sort of targeting, as well as action from this Trusted News Initiative in the next year. The TNI has already attempted to interfere with RFK Jr.’s campaign, prompting a lawsuit while living up to their role as gatekeepers of information during election cycles. (#)

Rumble and “X” in the Crosshairs

We in the alternative media space are going to have to brace for all manner of potential attacks, but fortunately for most of us, this won’t be our first rodeo. There were a couple of infamous mass-purge events over the last decade, the most notable being the lead-up to the 2020 election when the Hunter Biden laptop story first leaked.

Since that time, the digital landscape has changed, and a rather formidable parallel media/communication system has been built out as a natural response to the suppression we saw in 2020. We are no longer at the mercy of platforms like Facebook, YouTube and Google; as we’ve seen the advent of platforms like Truth Social, Rumble and Brave.

Currently, we are seeing Rumble being pressured by various governments, media outlets, and “watchdog” (more like attack-dog) organizations. The Associated Press is already probing the team for weaknesses and establishing narratives (see IMG below).

As the premier free-speech platform advocating alternative YouTube, Rumble is probably big-tech and the censorship regimes primary target in the run-up to 2024. The end goal of all of this, assuming Rumble continues to reject their demands, is to ban the website and all of its content creators in one fell swoop by restricting the entire population’s access to the site. That is effectively what this Online Safety Bill and the Russell Brand fiasco are leading to: the complete removal of Rumble from the UK.

If you think I’m being hyperbolic, consider what went down between Rumble and the French government last year. Upset over the fact that Rumble was still allowing Russian news sources on the platform (Sputnik, RT, etc.), France demanded they remove the accounts. Naturally, Rumble rejected the demands, opting instead to ‘turn off’ France’s access to the site.

Now, nearly a year later, in the immediate wake of the Online Safety Bill, you have a familiar cast of soulless, talentless jerkoffs who pretend to be journalists, demanding that Rumble deplatform one of its biggest channels over an alleged crime that he’s not even been convicted of. These same individuals have taken it upon themselves to malign Rumble publicly, going so far as to call up advertisers directly, attempting to sabotage existing deals and render Rumble toxic to new, prospective advertisers.

We saw an example of this earlier in the month when Barstool Sport’s Dave Portnoy got word that the Washington Post had contacted sponsors for an upcoming event and proceeded to smear him to evoke a response. (#)

One of the sponsors alerted Portnoy of the outlet’s inquiry, reading, to the effect, ‘Dave’s a misogynic racist. Do you want to defend yourselves advertising at this event?’” (#)

We saw a similar effort by the Anti-Defamation League against Elon Musk after he refused to satisfy their demands. In fact, what I wrote about the ADL last week is directly related to everything we’re discussing in this article. It is all part of the coordinated offensive that happens every four years.

RELATED: The Anti-Dissent League

The way that the entire establishment turned on Elon Musk was remarkable.

He was revered as a brilliant, quirky entrepreneur who became the great tycoon of the modern age, and they turned on him overnight once he announced his plan to buy Twitter. Aside from the attacks from these former watchdog organizations, there are a number of formal investigations into Musk and his companies that did not exist before he challenged the censorship regime.

It all makes too much sense.

Right now, Rumble and X are the frontlines of this information war. It’s nice that we have Truth Social, but it’s just an echo chamber. The establishment NEEDS Rumble to be taken out, and Twitter to be reverted to its previous state.

Unfortunately, Chris Pavlovski doesn’t have even a fraction of the resources available to Elon Musk, but is challenging the regime even more intensely than X is, so Rumble is in a much more vulnerable position, and might even be a more high priority target.

As you know, we here at Badlands are able to do what we do because Rumble has been willing to take such a hard stance against the censorship regime. If we allow Rumble to fall, we’ll not only be losing one of the most important pieces on the 5GW game board, but it’ll set a standard and act as an example to any other platforms hoping to fill the void.

We must protect and support Rumble at all costs.
