The Judas Goat

Creating a Qult for the ages

Throughout my entire career, one of my professional superpowers has been my ability to visualize complex systems and examine them from multiple angles. This has come in handy for problem solving, event planning and marketing. It can find and solve issues before they arise, as well as save significant amounts of money.

It can also smell a grift from a fair distance away.

Readers who’ve been around since my days on Blogger are familiar with my long-running series on the Q Phenomenon (now found in the archives here, as well). If you aren’t familiar with it, in brief I proposed that Q was sophisticated marketing operation to both map influencer networks and engender brand loyalty with the Trump Movement. The system “dropped” memes (tags and visuals) into the socmed sphere, tracked who picked them up and how those memes were spread, and created a network of True Believers that could be exploited to spread particular thought processes and beliefs to a defined group of people.

I further posited that Q was tapping into a large group of disaffected and disenfranchised voters in the US and beyond. This was the same group of folks who propelled Ross Perot and Ron Paul in their campaigns, and which has grown significantly over the past few years.

Why would this be valuable to a politician? Well, we can assume a certain amount of support for any politician in one of the Uniparty divisions, but they only follow party lines. We want a large group of people who don’t care about parties, and who want significant change in the nation’s governance. The Perot/Paul contingent certainly fills the bill. This builds a solid base outside Party control that attracts the working classes, political exiles and independents.

If we mix this formula with classic cult building theory (the Qult as I call it), this group must feel like it is under direct attack for their beliefs and support. So we make someone president who appears to be an outsider and says all the right things concerning trigger issues (taxes, privacy, immigration, etc.).

The leader of the Qult must appear to be a “sacrificial lamb,” so he says things like, “They are coming for you, I’m just in the way.” He is attacked and vilified mercilessly. His supporters are arrested and imprisoned. He is impeached a couple of times. He is indicted on piles of transparent non-crimes. This creates the impression that he is suffering on behalf of the masses for attempting to return the Rule of Law to government and clean up corruption (drain the swamp).

Over time, this builds blind cohesion. The base feels like it is being persecuted for its beliefs and activism. They are given secret catch phrases and hand signs to identify each other. The Qult leader looks calm, cool and collected, which the base interprets as him having some secret plan - a belief enhanced by the Q meme “Trust the Plan”. In fact, the totality of Q memes have to do with creating cohesion - a circle the wagons effect - around a “savior” that has been manufactured for their consumption.

Imagine supersaturating sugar into boiling water and placing a stick into it. Crystals immediately form and grow quickly on the stick. This is what’s being done.

Since that day in 2015, when Trump came down the escalator at Trump Tower (symbolic descent from Heaven), he has spoken in patriotic sound bites focused on nearly every single rhetorical hot button among the disaffected electorate. He has employed a powerful and sophisticated marketing tool called “Q” that has purposely been given an air of mystery, with little signs and symbols that hint at some secret connection between the military and Trump, though nothing firm or conclusive.

Trump has been under attack in the media and political circles from Day One, establishing his credentials as an outsider and someone for the entrenched powers to fear and hate. This further endears him to the disenfranchised masses and seals his image as “savior”.

Altogether this creates, in my mind, a firm picture of an operation to elevate the hopes and aspirations of the disaffected base, then finally and completely crush their spirit with a death blow - that we have yet to see, but which I expect in the coming campaign season. I suspect it will take the form of Trump somehow surrendering, thus forever yanking the rug out from under any resistance to the Marxist Cultural Revolution, not only in the US but globally, since Trump/Q has had strong international appeal, as well.

Has this ever been done before? I would argue that it is one of the oldest ploys in the history of government. In recent history, events such as the assassination of JFK, 9/11 and the Pandemic are all related operations to deflate the resistance and install control mechanisms of a political take-over. The Bolsheviks and Mao employed similar tactics, and most underground movements are identified and smoked out using these tools. We can point to the Proud Boys as a victim of this technique.

These operations involve complex psychological and manipulative techniques to first identify, then destroy resistance movements. They are used to not only rout out the resistance, but to psychologically destroy it, while providing a warning to anyone else who would dare stand against a tyranny. It is not enough to quash physical resistance, the spirit that created it must also be slayed and the thought process turned into a mental no-man’s land.

Is this the only interpretation of the Trump/Q Phenomenon? Of course not, but in our examination of risk issues, we should assign percentiles to each of the possible outcomes.

First, Trump/Q may be a genuine movement and their hero could be motivated by altruistic desires to “right the wrongs” in the country. He may be a true patriot, willing to place his life, liberty and fortune on the line to return the nation to a free and harmonious status. I give this about a 5% chance of being the case, since things that are too good to be true are almost always scams.

Second, Trump/Q may be an unwitting pawn in a much larger game in which he is being used to smoke out the Freepers. If we assume that Trump was recruited, as Q has stated, then he may have been duped into thinking he has some kind of magical “get out of jail free” card that makes him invulnerable - say documentation, irrefutable evidence, etc. I would give this option about a 20% chance of being true, because I believe Trump is wily enough to smell a trap, especially one this obvious.

Third, Trump/Q is cognitive of his role as Judas Goat and is actively working to create and market the operation. I give this a 75% chance of being the case. Trump’s business dealings may have left him open to blackmail and he has been offered a path to salvage his name and legacy, not to mention his five children. Certainly, his ego would lead him down this path. Further, the strong whiff of marketing techniques surrounds his whole campaign and presidency. This would also imply the military and intelligence agencies working closely with Trump to create and manipulate the public mind. Q has certainly made plenty of assertions in this regard. Trump is more than capable of this kind of operation and his seemingly close interactions with military/intelligence types tends to confirm this view.

That so much of Trump’s legacy from his tenure was so easily torn down within months of his leaving office tells me that he made no attempt to affect real, permanent change. He has pounded the message that he is the Last Great Hope to return America to some mythical Good Old Days, and he has blithely complied with the obvious political assassination attempts, with incompetent representation that he fires on a regular basis, and glaring omissions in his defense. At every turn, he takes to socmed to rebrand these things as either virtues or examples of the treacherous landscape he is wandering through on our behalf.

Maybe I’m just overly cynical and paranoid (which I am), but the past 10 years smell bad and I perceive some rot somewhere in the mix. I have seen enough of politics, show business and psychological manipulation to be very wary.

I cannot believe that someone with Trump’s background has been so thoroughly investigated, and the only thing adverse that has come to light is a bit of locker talk on an open mic. I cannot believe that someone in his position doesn’t have soft spots that can be tweaked to evoke necessary behavior. I cannot believe that a billionaire marketing genius cares about Everyman and the plight of the disaffected and disenfranchised.

It’s just all way too convenient that a “savior” would arise at just the last moment in history to redeem a broken and corrupted system that is designed to be exactly what it is. We the People are not part of this, as Q has said many times (Enjoy the Show).

We are being led to slaughter by a carefully crafted and executed narradigm, and we would all do well to question everything - on all sides of the argument.

As Mark Twain warned, “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.”
