The Just-Us System

The Just-Us System

When the going gets batty...

A member of the NYC militia saved a woman from being robbed, then she turned on him. A member of the Houston militia stopped a robbery in a taqueria, and landed in front of a Grand Jury. Indiana mall shooter stopped by member of the militia. Off-duty border militiaman kills Uvalde mass murderer, while cops drink coffee and calculate their pensions. Texas militiaman boots 2 thieves from his store.

The US self-appointed overlords are in a desperate scramble to prevent the general public from waking up to the fact that We the People are the ultimate authority, not them. They have abrogated their offices, and so the power WE gave them reverts back to us, and that terrifies them.

Somewhere along the way, the overlords managed to convince everyone that we were here to serve them. They made laws and forced us to comply with them, rather than us telling them which laws we wanted them to enforce. The largest possible police force was the militia, and the largest possible jury was the electorate. Everything else was a limited delegation of our power for a specific purpose.

The way things were originally conceived, every adult male was a law enforcement officer. They were supposed to train regularly and carry standardized weapons (well regulated). They could be called up for large-scale operations (posse). They were expected to be on-call at all times to keep the peace and prevent crime.

Each county elected a sheriff, whose job it was to keep track of threats to public safety. They were a clearing center for information on criminal activity that presented a threat to the community. They would disseminate intel from other counties and assemble the posse when needed.

Police came along with incorporated jurisdictions, like cities. They created their own enforcement agencies to collect fines and taxes. They were not constitutional bodies, and so had no power except as granted by the sheriff. As courts have often pointed out, the police have no responsibility to protect anyone. Their sole purpose is administrative paperwork and collections.

If you are an American, perhaps you’ve noticed all the focus on police, but no one talks about the sheriff. The sheriff is a duly elected law enforcement officer with Constitutional powers and responsibilities. The police are donut eaters who meet all the defining criteria of gang members. Police have no Constitutional authority of any kind. They are corporate drones.

What Americans need to be doing right now is exactly defunding the police, but with a caveat. They need to be beating on the sheriff’s door demanding that he start doing his job again.

Your local sheriff should be holding weekly training for militia members and creating standards for arms and ammunition, so everyone can supply everyone else. Every militia member should carry the same sidearm and have a minimum supply of ammunition. The sheriff could work deals with suppliers based on large-scale purchases. Every militia member should be issued posse identification cards to show their compliance with community standards.

The sheriff is the ONLY elected law enforcement official in the US. He has the power to cancel police authority. He has the power to eject federal agents from his county. He has the power to nullify unconstitutional laws. It is the most important lawful office at any level.

If you really want to change things, then take over the sheriff’s office. Run if you have to, but vote for the person who knows the power and responsibilities of the job and the Constitution. If you vote for no other office, this is the one that can make a huge difference in your immediate community.

Real change comes from the ground up, not the top down. Forget the president and congresscritters. Forget legislators and councilcritters. The sheriff is where everyone who loves freedom should focus.
