For a long time, I have pointed out that Americans are being misruled by an unprecedented, toxic mixture of corruption and incompetence. Over the past few years, however, a third, most deadly ingredient of all has been added to the mix. Madness. Insanity. Sheer, unadulterated lunacy.

Joe Biden is a fitting leader in this regard. Confusing words, disjointed thoughts, wandering aimlessly to and from public podiums, often with his right hand thrust out into the empty air. Making inappropriate comments to children, sometimes sniffing their hair or placing his hands in inappropriate places. Waxing rhapsodic over his stiff leg hair. Often with his ever-present ice cream cone in hand. Stumbling, fumbling, and mumbling, with only brief interludes of coherence, usually when he mentions the trigger words “White Supremacy.” Sirhan Sirhan had his handler; the long vanished Girl in the Polka Dot Dress. Biden has his wife, “Dr.” Jill. Who isn’t a doctor, naturally.

Standing behind him, only a heartbeat away from the presidency, as the saying goes, is his vice-president Kamala Harris. The first female vice-president. And, of course, in America 2.0., how could she be anything but nonwhite. Kamala, who seems to not be sure how to pronounce her own first name, is so inept, so shallow, that the dementia-addled Biden actually seems competent in comparison. Her go to move is to cackle. Often inappropriately. Her speeches have set new lows in terms of lack of substance, repeating words, often in a slurring manner, with a persona that is more like a TikTok teenager than a woman in her fifties. She would be an embarrassment in a sane world.

In the House, veteran loony Nancy Pelosi, another of our octogenarian leaders, is gone. But there are plenty of others still there, “representing” the people in the traditional manner of lunatics. Stacy Plaskett has taken on the Angry Black Woman mantle, established by the likes of Maxine Waters, whose anti-White racism is the stuff of legend, and Sheila Jackson Lee, whose historical knowledge has been highlighted by references to America landing on Mars, and the 600 years of slavery in this country. Plaskett takes the anti-White racism to new levels. Watch her in action. I predict she will become the first member of Congress since the 1800s to lash out physically at others on the floor of the House.

Then there is the “Squad,” a predictably angry group of nonwhite women “representatives.” Their leader is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, known as the pop figure AOC. Her own brother outed her as an actress, who answered a casting call for Congress. Note to everyone; it is impossible for a young waitress to get elected to Congress. Could not ever happen, even in America 1.0. She had powerful backers, and still obviously has them. Only slightly more articulate than Kamala Harris, she has the narcissistic, intellectual vapidity thing down pat. And she hates Whitey. Except for her White boyfriend, that is. He probably hates Whitey, too.

There are many others, “representing” the people in Congress. Just like the Virginia House of Burgesses. Eric Swalwell, whose demeanor is more akin to a high school football assistant coach, and whose claim to fame was sleeping with a Chinese woman named Fang Fang. Or Adam Schiff, whose theatrically wide open eyeballs mirror that of the waitress turned leader of the “Squad” AOC. It’s a diverse group, not in terms of intelligence or perspective, but that’s not important. They look the part, like a Marvel movie. And they all keep getting reelected. Well, to be fair, everyone in Congress gets reelected. We have a lower turnover rate than the Politburo at the height of the Soviet Union. It’s a “democracy” thing, you wouldn’t understand.

But to see Arkham Asylum in action, you have to watch some congressional hearings. The Biden administration trots out one side show attraction after another up there. Each one dutifully warning against the dangers of “White Supremacy,” and all of them in unanimity that men can indeed give birth. They have to be seen to be believed. The “Woke” military leaders are particularly special. General Mark Milley, who it must never be forgotten was selected for his position by Donald Trump, and loves Identity Politics as much as he loves war. Or Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. They lead a fighting force that is committed to diversity, transgender inclusiveness, and battling climate change. They strike fear in the hearts of Chinese and Russians everywhere.

Biden’s nominee to the Supreme Court, Kentanji Brown Jackson, famously was unable to define what a “woman” is during her nomination hearings. But that’s fine, because no “Woke” social justice warrior can define what a “woman” is. They’re trying to get rid of the very word. During “Women’s month,” the only people who seemed to win some kind of “Women’s” award were transgender males. These biological men pretending to be women are also shattering records and winning events as “female” athletes, effectively killing women’s sports. Expect lots of teenage males to jump on this bandwagon- keep your penis, but “identify” as a female in the girls’ locker room.

Biden’s nominees for federal judgeships are notorious for not having elementary legal knowledge. But that’s irrelevant now. All that matters is you care. And feel. The law is fluid now, even nonbinary. The judge will determine the law based upon the philosophy of the defendant. How does the defendant make her feel? I’m saying “her” here, because most of the more obvious practitioners of Identity Politics from the bench are women. Look at that TikTok judge Alex Jones had in his last show trial. They once said if you wanted to see the future of rock and roll, look at Bruce Springsteen. If you want to see the future of jurisprudence, look at that judge.

Batman comics and the great Batman: the Animated Series both featured stories about his arch enemies kidnapping him and putting on trial in a bastardized courtroom. The Joker was usually the judge. But really, in today’s upside down world, how different would a courtroom presided over by super villains be, than the kind of courts that Alex Jones or Roger Stone found themselves in in recent years? If you’re not a “woke” leftist, would you really have more chance at justice in a court presided over by an Amy Berman Jackson, than one ruled by Judge Joker?

Transgenders are front and center in the Biden White House. Rachel Levine, an overweight transgender born a male, is the assistant secretary for health. Sam Brinton, with his shaved head, died red mustache and flowing dresses, is a fitting poster…. I guess nonbinary for this administration. Not long ago, he was caught stealing a woman’s luggage at an airport. It was his second alleged theft. Brinton was somehow a high ranking official in the Energy Department. Somewhat amazingly, he was actually fired. He’ll inevitably show up somewhere on the America 2.0 landscape- how could he not? Maybe his own talk show.

"We've been very impressed by the number as well as the quality of the appointees in the Biden-Harris administration," noted Ruben Gonzales, executive director of the LGBTQ Victory Institute. It certainly has been a “victory” for them. Just Plain Gay Biden officials include former Mayor “Pot Hole” Pete Buttigieg, as Secretary of Transportation. There is Black lesbian Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. Pili Tobar, who is a “Latinx” lesbian, is deputy communications director. Traditionalists bemoan the lack of boring White lesbians. There are many other LGBTQ types in the Biden White House, with some of them even being White.

The loony binners are all “victims.” When they do something wrong, they portray themselves as being somehow victimized. That’s how virtue signaling- which is at the heart of this deadly Identity Politics- works. As long as you’re from the right “group” that is. If a wife kills her husband, she has the option to play the abused wife card. Whether the guy was really an ogre, or a henpecked submissive, it doesn’t matter. Who’s that jury going to believe? A Black murders a White man. All he has to do is say that he called him the n-word, and he’ll walk free. It’s already happened at least once, when a jury recently acquitted a Black who admitted shooting a man who called him racial slurs.

When transgender Audrey Elizabeth Hale shot up a school in Tennessee in March, there was almost no focus, and certainly no negative focus, on her “transition” to a male gender “identity.” There were many public statements, from the usual suspects, decrying alleged violence against transgenders, but none that touched upon the violence committed by this transgender. We are still waiting for Hale’s supposed “Manifesto” to emerge. A week or so later, another transgender student was arrested for plotting a school shooting. These are two more incidents than any I can find regarding modern crimes by “White Supremacists,” but still transgenders remain “victims,” and “White Supremacists” remain dangerous, no matter what.

So when we see videos of crazed transgender activists physically assaulting conservative protesters, while screaming that they feel “unsafe,” it shouldn’t be surprising. And the police, as always, side with the transgenders, not the sane people who object to them pushing such a horrific agenda. So do all the corporations. And all the government agencies. And almost all of the celebrities. And the schools. If any religious leaders object, they’re doing so in very quite voices. To sin by silence, when we should protest, makes cowards out of men, to quote Ella Wheeler Wilcox. It probably makes cowards out of women, too. Not sure about nonbinaries.

Basically, “wokeism” permits these often insane people to plead not guilty by reason of political correctness, instead of insanity. And now that the same Left that is trying to disarm the public, is encouraging transgenders to buy guns, we can foresee a future transgender crime wave. They can just claim someone called them the wrong pronoun, or “body shamed” them, or referred to them as a different gender than the one they “identify” as. It’s all maddening, but it’s quickly becoming official corporate and government policy. At the heart of this is the indisputable fact that those who undergo surgery to “transition” into another “gender” have undeniable mental issues.

Even more insane are the mothers (and yes, it’s almost always the mothers) who push their five year old into “transitioning.” And then set them up with an appointment where an evil and psychotic doctor mutilates them forever. But they will get to virtue signal, and show off their Frankenstein scars. And the fellow lunatics in the neighborhood can attend these “transition” parties to cheer on the madness. The media then reports on it favorably. The schools now want to allow kids to get themselves mutilated, without informing their sane and loving parents. If you think they won’t succeed, you’re imagining opposition that doesn’t exist. Or isn’t making its opposition known loudly enough.

It’s not only Washington, D.C. It’s the same all over. Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot was a perfect Arkham Asylum personality. Kind of like a much less attractive Harley Quinn. She was shockingly defeated in her bid for reelection, but the guy who replaced her, Brandon Johnson, while not cutting quite the same cartoonish figure, is even more anti-White than she was, if such a thing is humanly possible. At an even lower level on the totem pole, we have seen entitled and arrogant school board members in every state in this country. And the wise citizens just don’t seem able to vote them out. If you can’t even make reforms at that level, you are looking at a special brand of “democracy” indeed.

But it’s not just the “Woke” Left that is running the loony bin. Donald Trump, the leader of the “opposition,” certainly has perfected the whole super villain character. His latest escapade consisted of (very accurately) impersonating Joe Biden walking around on stage disoriented. Is that entertaining? Well, yes- it was hilarious. But that’s the kind of juvenile antic one would expect from the resident clown at the mental institution. Mitch McConnell, another “opposition” leader? With his marble balls in mouth way of speaking, this guy- yet another in our endless parade of elderly “statesmen”- acts like one of Nurse Ratched’s more obedient patients.

Lindsey Graham is like the Uriah Heep of the loony bin. Ingratiating himself with others, while reporting back to Nurse Ratched. Scheming for additional meds. Or maybe extra therapy with the male orderlies. The political world is now very much like a Cuckoo’s Nest. Except there isn’t even a McMurphy there to rebel from within, let alone any sane staff around to set things straight. Where’s Jack Nicholson when you really need him? He stopped making movies. And he’s still younger than most of our illustrious leaders.

In all reality, America 2.0 resembles a giant mental institution. A loony bin. Few in charge appear to be sane, let alone honest or wise. It’s especially ironic, given how so many mental health facilities were closed down, starting in the 1980s. Yet another bit of Ronald Reagan’s “winning.” So now we find lots of people who should be getting help for their mental and emotional issues, instead of being given cart blanche to run the country into the ground. The ones that aren’t in positions of power are living in tents and defecating on the sidewalks and streets. No one is sane enough to figure out even how to clean the crap up, let alone assist these poor souls.

We’re Lord of the Flies on steroids here. There are no adults in the room to stop the disruptions, the bullying, the crime, and the eventual collapse. Who would we look at, at this sad point in our history, as a sane and responsible leader? RFK, Jr.? Well, maybe. But you know they’ll marginalize him by making fun of his voice. Even before Biden took over and things deteriorated at warp speed, the warp speed vaccine president, Donald Trump, permitted statues to be torn down, and historical monuments defaced, for weeks. He didn’t call out the National Guard. The cops- whom the conservatives continue to insist are our “friends”- sat idly by and let it happen. They just doubled down on handing out tickets for illegal u-turns.

There are no “moral” leaders, either. The televangelists are laughable. Kenneth Copeland, worth nearly a billion? Joel Osteen, with his sickening “prosperity” gospel that has made him so prosperous? The rabbi who recently purchased Porn Hub? Notice how that one received no attention in the mainstream media. The Dalai Lama- who was caught asking a little boy to suck his tongue in public? Apparently, there are none among us- at least in the public arena- who are qualified to cast the first stone. Maybe “Caitlin” Jenner can be the next big Fox News star. The once greatest male athlete in the world participating in this sick charade epitomizes the lunacy ruling our society. Bruce Jenner, we hardly knew ye.

The big secret is that no one is in charge. While they are all serving our anonymous, and probably unknowable real masters, the leaders we do see are competing in their crimes and cover-ups, fraud and graft. So it’s mostly just a lot of pointless and Idiocracy-style bickering. The bottom line is the infrastructure continues to be unaddressed, the legal system has become totally politicized, history has been erased (and historically illiterate Americans don’t even realize it), the troops remain nonsensically in well over a hundred countries around the world, while our southern border is wide open. Our leaders, and the wealthy-sane and insane- remain absolutely above the law.

In “entertainment,” the good-looking female has become all but extinct. I used to complain that they ought to give average-looking women a chance at anchoring the news, or working the sidelines at NFL games. But they’ve taken this too far. Way too far. It’s hard to get that picture of Lizzo- the obese singer who is being championed for defeating the evil “body shamers,” wearing a thong at the recent Grammy Awards show, out of one’s mind. The Grammy Awards, Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, all of them- now resemble a dark comedy where the Joker, the Riddler, and the other super villains lock up the producers and stage their own freak show.

Sideshows, or “freak” shows, used to be all the rage, until they became obsolete a century ago or so. Tod Browning, the director of the classic 1931 film Dracula starring Bela Lugosi, gave some of these real life human oddities screen work in his 1932 movie Freaks. Public outrage was such that Freaks was banned for more than fifty years. If you watch it now, it doesn’t seem all that different from watching a Joe Biden press conference. Or the annual Oscar awards. There are bearded “ladies” everywhere today. Former high ranking federal official Sam Brinton had a dyed red moustache. He would have been right at home “identifying” as a bearded lady in the circus.

It’s sad that the circus- which gave such joy to youngsters for a very long time- has been banned. The animal rights activists complained that they mistreated the elephants and other animals. I wonder how many of those activists were “pro-choice.” Without the animals, the circus just folded up. Except for Cirque du Soleil. Which appeals to women and gays. Seriously, I’ve been dragged to a few and found myself ogling the men afterwards. The sideshow, by contrast, banned from circuses a century earlier, is now more popular than ever. But it’s not under the big top, or in one of the three rings. It’s everywhere. It’s become normalized. The freakization of society.

Perhaps we’re the ones who are insane. After all, we’re letting a bunch of loonies run things. We’re laughing at the freak show, but not stopping it. Putting our trust in the Stupid Party, which didn’t get that name from being effective or strong. Things become more incomprehensible each day. Now they have males with Down Syndrome being encouraged to dress in drag. Cool- that’s progress! And again, who’s stopping it? Where is the opposition? Are any preachers even talking about this in churches? Instead of recognizing mental illness, and trying to treat it, we are institutionalizing it. Like the old SNL characters, we have become a wild and crazy society.

One of my still unpublished novels, which I can’t seem to interest anyone in reading, was originally called Front Row at the Loony Bin. It was inspired by my family, but really that could be said for the vast majority of dysfunctional families in America 2.0. I thought it appropriate to trot it out again, because it perfectly expresses the state of this crumbling civilization. And we have to cope with it by ourselves. We can’t call on any authorities, because they are often insane and always corrupt. And usually more violent than the loony binners. This happened because previous generations of leaders and followers enabled it. To paraphrase Gary Allen, some dare call it conspiracy.
